Susanne Marins is an actor from Vaasa, Finland. She graduated from the Theatre Academy in Helsinki in 2005, after which she has worked as an actor in Helsinki, Turku and Vaasa. Wasa Theatre is her home-stage, where she has performed in her most memorable roles: Pippi Longstocking, the silent Katrine in Mother Courage and Berit in the hugely popular musical Gambämark.
“ Susanne Marins performance as Pippi is bouncy and full of luminosity, with energic braids and odd socks. A bundle of energy with notes of vulnerability, Susanne´s Pippi lives through moments of loss and longing under the evening stars. “
Maria Sandin, HBL
“ Her artistry is characterised by artistic integrity and humility. She approaches her roles with great sensitivity and is not afraid to show the vulnerable and fragile in people, while possessing great courage as a performing artist. She is one of those actors who move effortlessly between the deepest tragedy and the most exhilarating comedy. “
